Generic Weather Operating System
Generic Weather Operating System is based on Fedora Core 11 to Calculate and Display Weather Data. GWOS is licensed under the Terms of the GNU/General Puplic License.
GWOS Installation:
Burn the GWOS ISO Image on DVD and start the LiveSystem. On the Desktop System you can start the Installer and follow the Installation. On the BASE System you can open a Terminal and start the Console Programm liveinst and follow the Installation. At the END you must restart the System.

GWOS Configuration:
For changing the Configuration go to the /etc Directory and open the Files with your Favorite Editor.
With chkconfig you can start different Services on Boot.
